Tarkov best shotgun ammo
Only use BS rounds with an Ak and m995 with 5.56. You can buy them on the flea market. Any other ammo will just bounce off level 5 armor. Good ammo is more important than the gun. Always go for high penetration. I really mean it, a naked AK with BS is better than a fully modded one with FMJ or some shit like that.Ive tried running ak's or m4's etc hell even adars this wipe and their effective distance is about the same as any shotgun with half the damage/accuracy and double to triple the price. Not even getting into ammo, mags etc. Shotguns and bolt actions are literally all i can efficiently use without going insane.

Fence sometimes sells Poleva-6U slugs which are ok if you need some farther shots. 7mm buckshot for the time being. Otherwise you'll need to level up to Jaeger L2 for the Magnums, those will kill most stuff in front of you (aim for the legs). AP-20 are the best slugs, Flechette easily the best buckshot but you can only get those two later on.
