The PDS does what it's supposed to do as far as the Reaper is concerned - it makes him let you go. I'm satisfied with that, as a get-out-of-Seamoth-loss-and-almost-certain-death-free card. Even if it does seem to make him kind of angry...So in summary - I survived the Reaper attack, my poor Seamoth took 50-60% damage and I never fired off the defense system at all in my panic.
