Engineering electives
The following represents a typical four-year civil engineering program. Students who are convinced that they want to become civil engineers are urged to follow this plan of study in lieu of the general core engineering program presented earlier. Required or strongly recommended core engineering electives are shown for optimum scheduling.Students must complete a total of nine hours of approved electives, including at least six hours of technical electives. Students may not use courses required for the engineering major to fulfill elective requirements. Technical Electives: Must include at least three credit hours of ENGR 440 –ENGR 479.All students must complete 33-141 Physics I for Engineering Students by the end of the first year.
