The Century CETME is an after-attempt to evolve the design of the original CETME (the one the G3 was actually based on) to something similar to the G3. So in essense, the Century CETME is a mediocre copy and amalgomation of the original CETME and the HK91. Nothing wrong with that. I was already aware that several US made AKM receivers were of 4140 grade steel and I was fully expecting the same from PTR. ….
